5/8/10 Japan Trip

OMG, This trip has been GREAT so far but today has been the best! This morning, my dad, brothers, and I went walking around in Akasaka. We went through all these cool allies and they had some REALLY cool stores and restaurants!

I went to a certain store and got these japanese snacks.......then went and got more. (omggggggg they were soooo gooooood @__@)

Yukimi and her husband came to pick us up at the hotel. We walked from there to the subway. It took about 15 minutes. We rode on the subway for 20 minutes or so and got off and up to the streets to get back to walking. It was hot but there was a nice breeze :). On the path we were walking, we saw this traditional house thingy. My dad and i took pictures.

After 10 more minutes of walking we arrived at our destination! the kingdom hall!!The building that was used was a former branch house. It had 6 floors! the first floor was the japanese congregation, 2nd floor was english, 3rd tagolog. etc.etc. I think sign language is in there too.

After the meetng, we met everyone. They were all really nice. I wanted to speak Japanese then to them but i was so happy and excited that i couldnt. It was as if my mind went blank. Soooo since it was an english hall, i just spoke english ^_^. I'd like you guys to meet some of the friends. :D

.

YAY! JEHOVAH'S ORGANIZATION!!

I'm going to call her in the morning( since its 9:45 pm here) and tell her and her husband i said thankyou :D

Trip To Japan 5/5/10 night

So a few hours ago we finally made it into japan. Going over everything was pretty cool. there were LOTS of rice patties.

We went into the airport and our travel guide met us there. her name is koko and she is very very nice. I conversed with her in japanese as well! It was cool! and it turns out that i dont have a very big accent when i speak it either.(YES! ive worked hard for that).

We drove to the hotel (about an 45 minutes away). we passed the disney land resort

we were driving pretty fast so i had to snap the camera quickly.

Journal entry for the night

Right now im looking out my window, watching the lit-up tokyo tower. It looks like the eifel tower but lit with red and yellow colors. The city light just glimmer in the tokyo night sky and its simply beautiful. My butt is still sore from sitting in that dang air plane chair for 12 hours(yea, sorry to ruin that good moment i had goin on) here the tower!! ^_^

OMG! THE TOILETS ARE SO COOL! ive seen them through the internet but not in real life. It has buttons that squirt your butt and everything!! it dries it too! So if your in a nice place in japan and they have no toilet paper in there, have no fear! SUPER TOILET IS HERE! (it can spray you with a sigle water jet or multi :D )

Outside my window when it was still kinda light outside. you can see downtown tokyo.

This plane is HUGE It has like..3 sections from left to right! Siiiigh we're in row 40. hopefully the plane doesnt break in half in the middle of the sea like on 'Lost' (not that i watch that anymore because i don't)

OMG! Theres TV's on the back of the plane chairs! You can watch all kinds of things. but its all recorded not cable ofcourse.

While i was still inside the airport, I was sitting behind some koreans and actually understould some of the small things they were saying! :D but n-e-way, im going to go listen to some music so ttyl

Still may 5th 6:44 (u.s.time)|
-----------------------------

98 songs on my MP3 and 3 1/2 hours of hanna montana later -_- :

Ugh im so bored.

Right now im right over the ocean. Most of it is dark blue, but right across from that are a few small islands and surrounding them is the most light blue you've ever seen and it just fades into a darker and darker blue. It's so BEAUTIFUL. Heres the picture. you cant really see it that well but its there.

I'm looking at the virtual map on the back of the persons chair infront of me and i can read the Japanese characters for tokyo(yay) we're so close!!

We've passed the Berring sea and are headed towards the international date line. I'm pretty sure I've lost 15% percent of my hearing because my MP3 is nearly full blown and i cant even hear it as well as i could before the plane took off -_- i guess my ears are really stopped up.

東京へ!

heres somemore pictures. this one was taken when we were flying over Cana
da and Alaska

pretty isnt it?
